4. Others seek shelter under leaves or in tree branches to avoid getting wet.
5. You may also spot them perching in dense foliage, where their feathers act as a natural umbrella.
6. Interestingly, some hummingbirds have been observed using spider webs to build cozy nests to protect them from the rain.
7. In areas with heavy rainfall, they may even seek refuge in caves or under rock overhangs until the storm passes.
8. Hummingbirds are also known to fly to lower elevations during rainstorms, as air pressure is higher and makes it easier for them to navigate.
